Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Mesh

A Block that allows items to fall through it but disallows entities to fall through it, the design could be a slab-type block with wood on the sides and wire mesh in the middle or could be a different design if it does not fit in with the miecraft type of design, this block could be useful for redstone contraptions and mob grinders where you do not want to collect the items for a certain reason: such as a public xp farm using a certain type of mob that doesn't drop valuable items, furthermore the crafting recipe could be 3 sticks along both sides and string in the mid-top section of the crafting table.

    A Copper Meshing could be cool, although I can imagine other types as well
