Caves are cold!

So if you’ve ever been in a real cave, it gets really cold really quickly. Now Steve can endure freezing temperatures rather well, considering the snow biomes, etc. But the deeper you go, it should get colder and colder. So by the time you reach the Deep Dark, (or even before you reach it) you should start to slowly freeze to death without full leather armor.

  But then iron armor and above would be pointless, unless you could combine leather armor and other types of armor to create insulated armor i.e. insulated iron chest plate. This would also be done at a smithing table and give players a reason to craft leather armor. (I've never made a whole set in survival minecraft)

  Also, wouldn't it get warmer the deeper you go?
