Making the spy glass more useful

I think that a good way to make spy glasses more usefull would be to make them load chunks when you look through them. Another idea i have is to add a viewfinder to them. This would allow the player to see how many blocks away what they are looking at is. Finally, it would be very cool if we could equip scopes to crossbows using the spy glass, not only would this feature make the spy glass more useful,but it would also make crossbows even more useful.   Also, make looking through a telescope reveal more of a map when holding a map if it loads new chunks.
