Animation block to create creatures

I'd love to be able to create my own golums and other creatures out of existing blocks, then make them come alive by using a life block or enchantment. This ability could have options for hostile/ friendly/ bodyguard. Bodyguard mode would make the golum protect you like iron golums protect villagers.
