Customized Armor

You all want diamond armor. And when everyone has it it's hard to tell people apart. But what if your favorite color is green? You wouldn't want to use a weak dyed leather armor. Maybe using gold, iron, emeralds, diamonds, redstone, or copper you could craft a design onto your armor (Or maybe even your sword). This would be done by putting your armor, material of your choice (diamond, emerald, etc), and a block the pattern/design would be based off of (maybe leaves, water bucket, flower, etc). The color of the material you were using would be put into a design on the armor. The design would be based off of the block you chose. And so then you would have unique armor.

  Honestly, I would really love to see us being able to "plate" armor with different materials to give defensive or movement advantages. Maybe the smithing table could work with more materials (such as adding iron to gold armor to increase durability).

  Or maybe a timed forging thing.
  Like you put your armor or a weapon into a furnace to heat it up, then have to quickly bring it to the smithing table or anvil to add custom pieces to it!
  I can see players adding a copper lining to protect against the channeling enchantment, or adding emeralds to their crown so they can get better villager trades!

  There is alot the team could do in the way of allowing players to customize their armor to fit a playstyle and I would be excited to see what they could allow us to do!
