New crafting block: The Metal Bender

The stone cutter is a great addition to minecraft, now I can make...diorite stairs. Jokes aside why not add another block that can do the same, but for metals. Copper is an expensive block, especially since its really used for decoration and lighting rods. So what if you could lighten the workload by having the metal bender cut those chunky blocks down to size, reducing the price a little. If you ever added iron and gold stairs and slabs, this could be used for them as well.
