A spyglass being introduced into Minecraft seems good on paper, but doesn't really work out on game. The current Spyglass doesn't allow the player to see further, only to see a zoomed in version of the world. The Spyglass would be an amazing item if when used, additional chunks would be loaded, but this would be an extremely complicated and technical job for the team, especially with the bedrock edition limitations on certain devices, such a mobile.
I think it would be in the realm of possibility to have entities and certain blocks (such as chests) viewable from a larger range without increasing a player's render distance. Although the task will be daunting, the Spyglass item will have little to no good purpose for a player to use without this feature implemented.
