Scrap useless weapons and armor

I would like to have a workbench to be able to scrap any weapons and armor. It should give materials based on the condition of the weapon so a iron sword if its above 50% it could give 1 ingot and some iron nuggets and below 50% you would just receive nuggets. The reason I want this is so we dont have junk chest with weapons and armor from mob drops that are on 10% durability. It would also add a layer of immersion to the world.

    Love the idea, though the title for the idea should probably be modified so it doesn't sound like you want the devs to remove leather armor and such from the game.

    I like this idea! Scrapping old iron armor or something would allow you to re-use it for something else, which would be very useful.
