Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Block : Budding Glowstone

The idea is simple, adding a budding glowstone and glowstone buds and crystals. Not only this would make a renewable glowstone source but it would also add a new light emitting block.

 

What it would do ?

It would work the same way as amethyst : budding glowstone could be found in glowstone blobs that spawn on the nether's roof. On those blocks would grow the glowstone clusters/crystals that could be harvested for glowstone dust or picked with Silk Touch.

This would allow for an easy way to harvest glowstone. It would also add a new light emitting block with the buds and cluster. The bigger the brighter, with the cluster doing the same amount of light as a torch maybe a bit less.

Glowstone should remain the same and amethyst clusters should still emits very few light.

    I think it is a good idea to harvest glowstone without a witch farm and to just add something new to the glowstone itself, because it is so old and still untouched.
