Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Rock Candy: A Comedic, Yet Useful Food Source for Caves

What if glow berries weren't the only food source in caves? After thinking about other food sources for caves, I came across the idea of Rock Candy, which is liquidized candy commonly found in science kits that forms like a crystal. Rock Candy in Minecraft would be found as a rare luminescent ore and when mined, the player would receive Rock Candy Shards. There are many types of Rock Candy found within the caves and each type gives a different effect for a short period of time when consumed. Each ore is also colored differently depending on the effects that they give and each type has their own independent vein. That means that you won't be finding a vein full of various Rock Candy.

Colors of the Ore

Blue - Speed

Pink - Regeneration

Lime - Jump Boost

Yellow - Haste

    What if they were only found in a crystal biome? Or if they could be made with amethyst?

    They should be a food source that can be found in all sorts of caves and only found as an ore.

    talking about a good fantasy food source! this would be way better than eating mushrooms, spider eyes, rotten flesh or bats...
