New Mountain Biome: Splintered Mountains

This biome would be a variant of the Gravelly Mountains biome. The only difference is that Splintered Mountains would generate many more ravines than normal, most on the surface so these mountains would be crisscrossed with chasms. There would be enough ravines that the mountains would mostly be separate plateaus with chasms of various sizes between them.

Alternately, generating this biome would not use ravines. The idea here is just to have a large group of plateaus separated from one another by deep, sheer-sided chasms.

  The main idea here is just for a biome. A special reward or special dungeon might be cool, but that is another topic.
