With the addition of the new Caves and Cliffs update, it would be worth considering what specific features could be added to increase the interest and beauty of the cliffs aspect of the update. I'm sure the mountains will be most significantly changed with it's terrain generation, but it would also be interesting to have bits of detail and environment nested in with the terrain, giving it a more full interest, which enhances the experiences of exploration. Boulders in forests would be a good example, along with more rocky forests in the mountains, featuring streams with smaller widths and deeper channels, and maybe places where the generation of the terrain hints at how it was formed, like having many rocks in a cold field of grass, as if there used to be glaciers. This, among other possible similar ideas would make the aspect of exploration a much more interesting and enjoyable experience, even after the novelty of the update-hype that supports the gimmicky additions, like telescopes, has worn off. These boulders could be made of the new tuff block, as they already only form in underground boulders, but could instead form above ground, maybe with calcite inside.
