Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Totem of Hoarding

I was just thinking, but what if there was another totem, like the Totem of Hoarding (Keep Inventory based). The totem could only be bought from wandering traders, making them a little bit more useful, but will be a really rare trade to look for. The Totem will be able to let the person keep their whole inventory but the catch is they will lose all their XP levels. This was a concept I was thinking about, since some people don't like losing their stuff in the void and wandering traders aren't used that much.

But it should be a rare find as it can be easily abused.

    But then it should be used when you die. Or else you could just have an option for not loosing inventory in survival

    The Totem of Undying kind of already does this as it simply keeps you alive and you have all of your items. If this were added, it would simply be a lower version of the Totem of Undying, except it makes the player go back to their spawn point. It could be useful if you want to quickly get home and not have to walk, but it seems like a cheap use for a new item that is supposed to rival the Totem of Undying

    I literally want this sooo badly in the game. I bother my brother about it nonstop, and even called it "the totem of hoarding". I had no idea about this post, but I'm so glad that you posted it. 100% in favor of this!!!
