I don't really have much of an explanation on why this should be added, but I think since we're already getting azalea leaves we should get azalea logs as well.
Don't think a shade of pink/magenta would be very realistic, that's the color of the flowers. As much as everyone will hate this, I think another shade of brown would be the best choice, maybe golden-brown like Adam Sirkis said.
Yeah, they should be slightly pink-ish. I think they shouldn't be too pink (at least in my opinion, but I'm no builder.) Kinda like Oak Logs/Planks, but slightly pink.
White seems good, we already have birch, but that's more of a yellowy white, i think maybe azalea could be pale white. Or, it could have interesting bark for the logs.
Pale white would be a great thing to have, another possible color could be the pale lilac of the minecraft dungeons trees that generate in the jungles.
Hard disagree on pink wood. We already have crimson wood, its more pink than anything. A pale wood or a kind of turmeric looking wood would be nice. If they made it ebony, I wouldnt even care of it didnt make sense lol
I like the pale-pink color for the azalea logs. I don't remember where but I saw a post/comment that suggested the azalea logs have a smaller model than other logs, which I like because it matches the irl azalea tree images I found, and would add a "branch" block. However to keep normal azalea logs you would craft them by putting the mini logs in a 2x2 crafting shape (like logs to wood).
The logs should definitely not be any color that the current logs possess. I think in the far future we'll get log types that reflect the 16 colors of dye. People suggest dying logs to get colored logs, but that's both tedious if you want to use a lot of them and very basic/boring.
Looking at pictures, the trees should have a shape that is low to the ground, but branches out. It should be very twisty, similar to a large oak tree, but lower to the ground.
Azalea wood irl is usually a pretty grey-ish/tan-ish color, which would be a great addition as it's not really a color that we have in game as of now, let alone with wood. and the bark is a really rich reddish-brown with white spots, kind of like Birch inverted - I think it would be really nice addition.
