Halite (New type of Stone)

Halite would spawn in large veins and be a new type of stone similar to Diorte, granite, and andesite. This block would be white at the bottom and gradually fade up to a bright pink. It couls be polished, and made into stairs, walls, and slabs. This would basically be a beautiful new building block.

  Halite is a stone in real life as well. In real life, it is a type of salt. I also think that another stone type, bauxite, should be added. In real life, bauxite is a type of laterite clay.

  Halite can be found in a new cave biome maybe called Halite Hollow because there are salt mines in real life. It can be used to make salt which can then be used to preserve food. Food should be able to go bad after a certain amount of Minecraft days and putting salt on it would preserve it like they used to do it back then.

  I thought it would look weird... Until I made the texture. I loved it!
