A way to get more cut copper out of ore.

At the moment, it is incredibly difficult to get enough copper to build with, so there needs to be a way to get more cut copper blocks. I thought perhaps every single copper block could get you 9 cut copper instead of just 1? That way, 1 ingot = 1 cut copper block. And with the veins being added in the future, they should be fairly large so it’s possible to get lots of copper. I think that regular copper blocks should stay fairly expensive though. Any extra opinions or thoughts are appreciated!
