Copper beacons

Copper beacons, don’t immediatly say: too many blocks!

First of all: cut copper blocks, stairs and slabs do not work.

extra idea:

copper beacons have a bigger radius than normal beacons but as it ages, the beacon gets weaker:
not weathered= extra range, lightly weathered= equal range, semi- weathered= less range, weathered= does not work. The most weathered block in the beacon piramid is the range of the beacon.

So: 1 block gets more weathered, beacon loses range until no range.

About the waxed blocks: they don’t work unless you don’t do the idea above.

 

aleast make that the copper ingot can be used as the ‘fuel’ please.

(more uses for copper in general would make me happy :D)

  Nah that’s too complicated. However the regular copper block being used as beacon blocks cool, but all this extra stuff isn’t necessary.

  Just a thought: the beacon summons lightning on the beacon block or around it :D

  Why don't they just make it so you can power beacons with copper, like how you already can power them with iron and gold?
