Amethyst Necklace/Charm

One of the origins for the word Amethyst comes from the Ancient Greeks believing the crystal prevented drunkenness. For Minecraft, I think it’d be appropriate to tap into this magical quality and allow a shard of Amethyst to be crafted into a necklace that prevented the effects of potions from affecting the user. Maybe any potion effect, or just the negative ones.
