Copper Being More Common in Oceans

I think copper should be more common in oceans than other biomes because copper is a very nice building block and at the moment a lot of mining would have to be done to get a good amount of it. And if copper were more common in oceans the problem would ( to some extent ) be fixed (although I think that there should be a renewable way to obtain it but Idon'thaveany good ideas for that). This also could be somewhat education as the Romans got most of there copper from the island Cyprus.
