Quality of Life: Map marker stays an arrow.

Currently when you are out of bounds on a map (the item) a white circle on the map border shows where you are. My issue is that when you are too far away the tiny circle doesn't grow and shrink fast enough to tell me I'm going in the correct direction. I'd prefer it if instead of a circle, it stayed the arrow we see when we are within the map's border. That way you could easily tell if you are in fact going in the correct direction.
