Beacons

I feel like Beacons should be a little bit better than they are considering they are endgame loot, not necessarily in what they give (though i would appreciate night vision) but how far their effect is given, 90 blocks isn't a lot considering what it takes to make a full beacon set up, you could obviously use more beacons but i think there should be like beacon range upgrades that you can find as rare loot

    I agree I’m yet to get one in myself in survival mode but that would be nice

    I think the range should increase by the use of more expensive materials, because theres no benefit to using materials like diamond or even netherite in your beacon right now.

    To add to this suggestion. The current issue with beacons is that there's no need to build incomplete beacons beyond decoration. A larger max range would make the intermediate ranges also useful. On top of that, builds in Minecraft tend to be much bigger than a beacon's effect range. Having a much larger beacon range would make it so that it's not necessary to spam beacons if you need more coverage. I'd love to see a max range beacon reach maybe a 100 chunks but I can see how there would be tech limitations given the player's render distance.

    Please bring this conversation back... Beacons need an update immediately, range-wise they're a shame.
