Yeah, me and my friend, were discussing about the waxing of the copper, the idea is that you could wax the block just r-click w/ the honeycomb, it will make much more easy to wax, picking the block will make it really not fun to do, real boring...

Nice idea! Though I think we'd need a way to tell waxed blocks apart from the rest, so waxing a lot of blocks does not become confusing. Maybe something with the Spyglass?

"It adds a sort of history to Minecraft"

    - Agnes at Minecraft Live

Stopping copper from turning green would mess up what Mojang planned :(

I really do think we need history in MC.

I think you missed it, HeroOfBlocks, but the option to wax copper was already added in snapshot 20w45a as a crafting recipe using the honeycomb.

This suggestion is about letting you do the same by right-clicking the block.

Probably deserves its own post, but there should also be a eay to de age the copper, e.g. use the brush from the archilogical dig sites to brush off oxidized copper. It takes durability every stage, and you and have to do it a again stage by stage.

I dunno not required but could give brushes another use.
