Crystals and nether stars alter enchanting

Enchanting is fairly simple, enchanting table, your gear, lapis, and a couple levels is all you need. But what if crystals and nether stars had an affect on enchantments? They both only have one use each, although crystals are a beta feature so that is subject to change. I'm unsure of how this would be done but I'd be glad to share some ideas. They could be used to make another enchanting table that could give more powerful enchantments like sharpness 6. But this idea I am quite fond of: you use them to gain new enchantments like soul fire aspect or custom enchantment glows. You people at mojang are creative geniuses so I have faith that if this were a feature, you guys would do it way better than I could ever imagine.
