candles with blue flames

variation of candles with blue flames made with soul sand. maybe even candles with different colored flames made with different materials like redstone.

    I think this is a very good idea. I feel like it has a great potential to be added if it is noticed. @Chili You would have to craft the ingredient in.

    Redstone Candles could be used as timers if they can be made to melt

    ChiliHotdog24 it is related to soul sand... soul fires but that is more of a nether update thing. So I hope its added but lets not make it all a nethery thing.

    1 soul sand/soil + 8 candle

    or

    1 soul sand/soil + 1 honeycomb + 1 string

    IRL, candles can be made with different colored flames by using different metals, similar to fireworks.  It should be the same in Minecraft.

    Red: Redstone
    Orange: Firecharge (?)
    Yellow: Gold (??)
    Green: Copper
    etc.

    Something like that, I'm not sure which materials would make which colors but I'm sure Mojang can figure it out.

    Well, in real life, copper, for example, makes flames burn green.

    Blue-flamed candles don't fit into the game at all. We already had soul lanterns, so that's it.

    I like this idea as it would show how hot the flame truly is. It could be used for the city ruins that are going to be added next year
