Small patches of non-budding amethyst in caves

I think it would be a good idea to have rarely spawning small patches of non-budding amethyst in some caves. This would be nice way for new players to learn about amethyst and a way to get a few rare amethyst before they eventually find the much rarer geode.

  There could just be geodes that are only one block. They would look like tuff on the outside, but stonecutters could be used to cut them open and/or polish them into amethyst blocks
