Okay, so I read through the category for biomes and dimensions and realised I was talking too much about End sharks and stuff, so I'm going to repost everything about this biome, minus the mobs.
This acidic wasteland is filled with large pools of acid, a new liquid that flows like water but burns like lava. This will harm ALL mobs, even those that are fire-proof. The only exception are any mobs that originate from the end, e.g. the Enderman, Endermites, Shulkers and of course, the Ender Dragon. There could also be acidic endstone that is just regular endstone, but it burns like magma blocks and it will only appear if an endstone block is in direct contact with acid. Maybe we could even see a purple grass like block everywhere, like how the Nether has crimson and warped nylium.
There we go, much better. You said you wanted to keep the End desolate and as empty as possible, so putting a few lakes should keep your interests in mind, while adding something new.
