Mode Idea

I would like a mode in survival similar to Creative in the sense that you don't die via lava or water. I would like this because while I do want the achievements, I keep dying by unexpected lava hitting me out of a block and drowning in water due to not being able to swim up fast enough. I believe a mode like this would be beneficial to people like me. The inexperienced/newbies to minecraft survival mode. I don't exactly know how this would be done as I am not a game developer.

    just give yourself fire resistance and water breathing with commands

    I wouldn't have this be a gamemode but a gamerule, such as doDrowning or doLavaHurt
