Glow Weed

Similiar to Sea-Grass Spawns in caves underwater producing a small amount of light

can be harvested/farmed when eaten it makes your minecraft character glow for about a Minute enabling you to see better in the dark, basically like a flashlight

    I would suggest looking at this in relation to the highly voted for Bioluminescent cave biome. It would fit well in there.

    Perhaps just glowing algae instead of a plant. Still, I'd be fine either way
