In a recent interview, some of the people at Mojang said that they planned on maybe not giving the Warden a drop. They said that because they didn't want to incentivize players to kill the Warden, because you're not supposed to be able to. But I wholeheartedly disagree. Imagine, learning about this incredible, giant beast that lives underground in the new update. You start up a new world, grind for months to get netherite gear, fully enchant your stuff to the best that you can. You gear up, and head down. A massive, 25 minute fight ensues as you try your absolute best to take it down. You finally kill it and..... nothing. You just spent months getting ready to kill this thing to see what kind of special amazing item you would get for slaying such a beast, and.... nothing. That would be the most disappointing thing ever. And I know that they also said that they could maybe give it some cool trophy item that you get for killing it (which I compare to the dragon egg). I mean, it's cool, but also entirely useless. What are you going to do with it? Nothing. It just sits around and looks pretty. Which is why I suggest that they should do something more like the Nether Star. Yeah, having one is amazing, but it also has an amazing use, that being the beacon. I think that they should have it so that maybe you get that heart (or whatever it is) that's in the Warden's chest, and can use it to make some really useful item. I'll let you decide what it is.
