Block-logging

My idea is called Block-logging. It's similar to waterlogging a block in the sense that its 2 transparent blocks becoming one but in this case the only way to reverse it is the break the block/s. And example of block logging: putting a fence in a slab. The fence still works the same and so does the slab, so if you have a pole made of fence and a floor made of floor slabs, there is now no gap between the pole and the floor. This could make for some very interesting rooms and such. As a creative person I reckon this would work really well in a lot of situations. Sorry that this is so long.
