Coffee is an everyday beverage we all have the privilege of being addicted to. When we wake up in the early cracks of the morning, there is nothing Better than a nice cup of coffee to get us moving throughout the day. Coffee in Minecraft will serve the same purpose, giving a minor haste effect, allowing drinkers to work more efficiently to find all the new materials scattered up on the highest mountains and below in the deepest caves. Coffee can also give a slight boost to vision at night, but be careful when drinking it as it could prevent you from sleeping causing phantoms to pursue you faster than normal.
Obtaining: Coffee Beans are very difficult to come across as, just like cocoa beans; they only grow in the jungle biome and cannot grow in any other. However what makes up for there rarity is their brewing method. Unlike standard potions, coffee doesn’t require blaze powder to reap it’s benefits. You can upgrade the strength or duration of its effects by adding sugar or milk. Milk to increase duration and sugar to increase strength.
It’s a minor feature that I believe would add a bit more realism to Minecraft. Plus, who doesn’t like a good cup now and again.
