When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone Fan [All Platforms]

redstone fan that sends gusts of wind towards the direction they're facing (up, sideways, or down) and move entities that are using elytras, dropped items, etc. It would have a similar crafting recipe to a dispenser but using something like phantom membrane or an iron ingot instead of a bow. They could have a different wind strength based on redstone strength. The highest output could even move entities!

    I can definitely use this to transport items in nether, or as an aesthetic alternative for flooding systems in farms.

    Also, blow off candle fires on distance in 1.17 :D

    I love the idea of the fan block (or what I call the propellor block) being able to create water currents that can move boats to make passive water transport systems, similar to Etho’s EATS boat transport or a lazy river.

    Like the original post, the water current strength could be controlled by redstone signal strength. For example, 15 signal strength travelling up to 15 blocks.

    It can also be fun to use to levitate players and mobs that have the slow falling effect for games and pranks or to build elytra boost/lift stations in elytra flight races.
    There are many ways propellor blocks/fans could improve transportation in Minecraft and I would love to see them added.

    A crafting recipe I have in mind would use 1 copper ingot in the middle left slot, redstone dust in the center, 1 iron ingot above and below the redstone, and cobblestone in the remaining spaces. It would look like an enclosed fan in the crafting interface.

    One feature fans could have is you can put a snow block directly behind it and the fan would create snowy particles and cool the air in front of it. Good for keeping snow golems from melting.

    One cool feature you could add is the power to launch anvil (in Bedrock Edition (when it is currently impossible to do now) and Java) and tnt for simpler tnt canon

    They should add this in the next update. Now that we have wind. It could be crafted with copper and a breeze rod. I also think you should be able to craft faster minecarts with it. Another idea is blowing and creating particles. (Example: blowing away the purple drops from crying obsidian to make a cool effect, or blowing leaves off of trees.) You should repost an updated version of this idea.

    This could be great for steampunk builds, or planes, or adding movement to normal builds.
