Spooky Fall Event Feedback - Tell us what you think!

We hope everyone enjoyed the first seasonal event for Minecraft Dungeons, the Spooky Fall Event! While this was a limited-time event, we’re looking to gather your thoughts and feedback so we can steer the direction of potential future events.

  • What do you think of timed events that offer unique rewards during that period?

    I think the item level for time-limited items should be higher more often than normal loot. Doing a rank III Spooky Trial says item levels went up to 174. I did a LOT of them and only got two 173 items. The rest were 169-172. In normal gameplay that you can farm indefinitely this is acceptable. In a time-limited event this is extremely disappointing. More importantly, we should be able to pause in singleplayer (or couch co-op if friend is in inventory), and we should be able to play when our internet goes out.

    I feel that the uniques that dropped should have varied from day to to day, instead of being the same 4 over and over again. Doing it like that would mean that people who are very busy and dont have much time to play the event, have a better chance to get hold of the uniques they wanted. I'd also like to see some uniques be unique to levels since thats intresting and provides a variety of different challenges for players. Also a difficulty slider would be appreciated, as we all want high level gear without having to break the bank at the blacksmith upgrading everything. Finally, some more truly 'unique' items would be nice, ones with different effects, rather than a re-skin of previous items. I understand that reskins are good because it means that players have a chance to have practically the same gear as those who took the event trials, and not put the 'event people' at an advantage. However, some seasonal effects might be nice to provide some motive to get rarer pieces of gear. ( for example : mobs glow in night mode). Thanks for reading :)

    Very Good although I inly got the armour because I am am quite new to the game and I would like to see a difficulty bar loke all main missons. Thank You for making such a great game.

    I love minecraft dungeon and the halloween mission was really nice, but new level of apocalypse are unplayable. Its not possible that with 172 power level one player cant win a 161 power level raccomended. Please fix the game that in this way is really broken. Thank you!

    I highly enjoyed the event and the item re-skins included in it. The only thing that I believe could have been improved on was the length of the event. I feel that it would have been better if it had lasted the majority of or at least half of October. Besides this, there was nothing else I would have changed.

    I think it would be cool to decorate the camp for holiday events, maybe for Christmas it is snowing and there are Christmas trees! Also Apocalypse+ needs to be fixed. It's way too hard even for an upgrade Apocalypse difficulty. But I do love this game, so keep up the great work!

    I enjoyed it, but the loot was the same each day. It'd've been cooler if there was a range of limited-time hear you could collect with each trial. Speaking of, I believe it would be interesting to see custom limited-time levels for each season (e.g. a Halloween event where the level is a graveyard theme, with a giant skeleton as a final boss or something.) Or, kinda like what the past event was, levels that relate to the holiday can have alternate trials with new bosses or mobs to fight (e.g. Frosted Fjord is decorated in a Christmas style and has a Grinch or some other evil entity as a boss. Maybe some mobs can wear Santa hats.)

    i want artifact uniqes of firework arrow and totem of shielding. as those are my main artifacts. not saying you shouldnt do others either!

    I think it was a splendid event. I would though, like to suggest a few things.
    For starters, the gear given is a little too overpowered in terms of power level in default difficulty (seems like the opposite in adventure and apocalypse). Next, the enchantments are quite lackluster. Third, I think there needs to be a sort of new equipment given.
    Thanks first three event though, hope to see more in the future.

    @Hayden Spence, I do not think fourth of July events areas a good thing. For starters, it seems that the day is an American specific one. I hope you are aware that there are other countries with their own independance days. The other suggestions though have some credibility

    I liked the unique rewards and thought the challenge was good, maybe there should be more unique artefacts following the same lines as the Corrupted Pumpkin, I also liked the shape and colour of the weapons but maybe if the event was a bit longer it would have been more fun because we would have had more time to gather all the different items.

    The power of the uniques were great, but I think there should've been more rewards to get from the trials, because once I got the Hungry Horror, Haunted Bow, and the Corrupted Pumpkin, I stopped playing the Spooky Trials because I already had the rewards.

    There is a chills and thrills event starting on Dec. 18th. It's like the spooky fall event.

    I would love in town decorations. Why not have cobwebs and pumpkins in the home town! That would be super cool! 

    ALSO there should be a badge to say that I participated in the event! I wanna remember it and have a history of participation in the game!

    Please make it possible to receive cosmetic rewards from the past event in the next year's event by also adding new rewards, but not taking away the opportunity to receive old ones!
