Hatchlings could rest on the players shoulder or head once they have imprinted on them since they can’t fly. I’m not sure about this idea though but I’m open to suggestions.

Cool idea. In the spawning part, I think they should spawn in wooded mountains or regular mountains and as they fly they can move through several biomes and always come back to their nest

I agree, I think they should be most common in the Mountain Forests and the cliffs but Peregrine Falcons live in a lot of different places around the world so they should be able to spawn in other biomes as well.

Also I agree that they should be able to move throughout different biomes but if they are nesting then they shouldn’t be able to fly off to far similar to bees.

There nests should be able to spawn in any biome where there can be perches with a random number of eggs. These nests should be a fairly rare spawn. They should be able to attack chicken, rabbits, fish, bats, parrots, and baby animals. They should stay within around 100 blocks of their nests. You cannot gain loyalty from a naturally spawning one. They can gain loyalty from a baby falcon by regularly feeding it overtime. Additionally Falcons should be able to go at the max world height and detect mobs from 100 blocks down. When they attack they will dive directly down onto them. When loyal Falcons may go and rest on you, they may also bring you some of the loot from the mobs they hunted. Additionally when the falcon is nearby or above you and you are under attack by specific mobs the falcon will help fight them off by flying up and diving. You can get it to lay more eggs by feeding it and if a nest is close enough. I don't think the leather glove itself should nessessarilly be included though.

I love these ideas, especially the part about their good eyesight however I just want to make some things clear because I know I dint explain these well enough.

    1. I meant to say Falcon hatchlings will imprint and become loyal to the nearest player when they hatch.

    2. The perch I was talking about is a block that you make for the falcon like how you make bee hives for bees.

    3. I wanted the leather glove to add some balence to the falcons but I can see how that limiting feature can be annoying.

    That’s all :]

Maybe you can wear a Leather Tunic and then they will come perch on your shoulder like parrots?

Maybe the falcons could drop claws/beaks that could be used to make grappling hooks or grappling hook arrows

Yes this would be so amazing but for right know there is a mod called Alex's mob 1.16.5 that adds bald eagles and tons of other mobs has falconry with bald eagles

I like this idea the most out of all the falcon suggestions. It holds true to how falcons really are with their falconers and keeps them wild while still being your 'pet', which is how they are in real life.

I have wanted falcons in mc forever, this is a great idea. It also fits with mojang's "endangered species awareness" mob adding (turtles, pandas, bees etc) they should also circle around in the sky when you release them to look for hostile mobs (prioritizing ones you have attacked) and attack the same way phantoms do.
