Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I think all colours is a bit too much but there are good ideas here in the feedback page about copper green fire lanterns and soul soil blue fire lanterns

    The cost to craft should be 1 lantern surrounded by 4 glass panes to create 1 coloured lantern.

    The colour of the glass would determine the light colour it emits. By giving players different coloured lanterns we could use that lighting in creative atmospheric builds. For example, red lighting effects in a hellish dungeon or warm yellow in a beach-side house. 

    Upgrade the soul lantern to have soul particle effects slowly emitting from it and give it a slightly darker metal frame. This would separate it from the other normal coloured lanterns.

    Love this idea! I want the iron lantern to come in all dye-able colours!
