Ender Chests in Minecarts

We have Minecarts that carry chests, hoppers, furnaces, and TNT so the same should apply to ender chests too.

    This would defeat the purpose of having to have a Silk Touch pickaxe to break an Ender Chest.

    So you would have an ender chest minecart in your base? I don't see this as defeating any purpose for the ender chest and I'm sure that by the time someone gets an ender chest, they will have a silk touch pick.
