A Warden's Defense Against Players Simply Stacking Up and Hitting It

    Maybe just make the Warden itself immune to damage and spawn its heart as a separate block that you have to find and destroy in order to kill/disable it. I think it fits the themes and the intended gameplay of the deep dark (sneaking around the warden to find the hidden loot). Plus the ambient heartbeat, the whole in its chest, and the fact that its name literally means that its protecting something fits almost too well.
