Ogres are powerful mobs that have 60 hp (30 hearts) and can deal 6 hp (3 hearts), Ogres also spawn in Ogre Caves.

Ogre Caves are the home to Ogres, but the chests these caves hold contains very good loot.

Ogre Caves are very rare structures, they have a chance of containing amethyst.
