For the longest time, especially in bedrock edition, water in swamps has been unpleasant looking and no one seems to build in swamps because you have to deal with the swamp water. It would be amazing if water in swamps were separated into swamp water for swamp biomes because it gives people an option of whether or not to use it. Swamps can become clean in real life and look nice and Minecraft should do the same. You would just need to soak the swamp water away with sponges if you wanted to replace it with clean water. (It could turn clean water into swamp water if it touches any, though it would have a radius of how far, even then this is just an extra idea for swamp/clean water, it doesn't need to mix). This would make it so you can control when you use swamp water, and sometimes you might want to use swamp water for building your own "ruins" without being in a swamp. And swamps would be nice to use clean water so people can build what they want in the biome and be more flexible.
