Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst Crafting Fresnel lens block

The Fresnel lens block crafted from Amethyst would increase the light level by [x]  in the direction from the lightsource on the opposing side(s) of the Fresnel block. Max Light level doesn't change. The concept would be a passive illumination of a room with reflection from multiple lens blocks or focus illumination in one direction (ex. Lighthouse)
