Custom skins for console

I would love if it would be possible to get custom skins and maps and that stuff on consoles, because I am I PS4 player and I would like it better to use my own skin then something else.

    I agree, mobile and pc players can have custom skins, but us console do not fit in very well and does not fit in with the whole “cross-play” update

    Yea, I find it deeply, incredibly annoying that I can’t use custom skins on console, just doesn’t make any sense on a cross platform version of the game.

    Exactly! We can sign in on minecraft.net and access the skin tab. It should recognize that we have Minecraft. We could upload skins through the computer online. Anyone seeing this, please share and vote for the sake of the console community!

    I would love to have custome skins for Minecraft on Xbox PlayStation and such it’s not fair oc and phone users can have them but we can’t

    Yeah it's really annoying that if you want a skin you have to pay for it while mobile and pc can import any skin they want without a penny, and the skins you have to buy aren't exactly what you want.

    Yeah i personally think that we deserve it, just because we buy a console and buy minecraft doesnt make us different from them who buy computers  and buy minecraft   get free skins

    they could have it where you have to go to a website and login to you Microsoft account and you can choose a pre-made skin, import or post skins for others to use. To solve the inappropriate things the can have someone have to approve their creation.

    it extremely bothers me that console players do not get access to all the capabilities mobile players do. mobile players can get customs maps,addons,playerskins,playerheads. but us console players are stuck buying preset addons and skins. that doesn’t seem practical or fair that we have to be forced to pay for things we don’t like and mobile players have the choice not to. it’s outrageous and we deserve custom capabilities too.

    I completely agree, there needs to be custom skins on minecraft bedrock edition for consoles. They could easily sync between devices if they don’t want you uploading on the console, or they could do what they are with java and pc bedrock, just make it a website! Microsoft owns Minecraft, Microsoft owns Xbox, there should be absolutely zero reason it can’t happen. They’ve had years to make it happen. There shouldn’t be more time given, it should be in a minecraft preview ASAP. also, the skindex has been down for a while, they should change their custom skins link to Planet Minecraft or another actually usable site.

    Players on PC and mobile can import their own custom skins in Minecraft Bedrock, but console players cannot. When we try, we get the error “Impossible to load local platform skin.”

    This feels unfair to console players. We should have the same freedom to upload our own skins (.png files) as on other platforms.

    Custom skins make the game more personal, fun, and creative. It would also let console players join the Minecraft community more fully, including YouTubers and streamers who often use unique skins.

    Please allow console players to import and use custom skins safely, just like on PC and mobile.
