Thawing Ocean Biome

A new cold biome surrounding, or next to a Frozen Ocean Biome. Cold enough to respawn ice blocks in the water if any are broken, but also some ice blocks do melt naturally as well.

A key visual difference is a new block, 'Cracked Ice' with particle effects of water dripping from under the block if there is air under the block and the block will melt if not in a cold biome like a regular Ice Block.

A new sound to the biome to make it unique is the sounds of eerie creaking cracking and moaning of large cracks forming in the ice. Not like the sound of crunching thin ice or sugar glass, but like throwing something heavy on a large frozen lake and makes a kind of metallic reverberation sounds.

Additionally, the Thawing Oceans Biome can feature low hanging fog along the ground, or a mist, or subtle animations of steam rising from the ice.

Icicles naturally appearing around any overhangs with dripping water particles.
