Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

In general, I think it's a good idea to enhance the usefulness of existing items, rather than add new separate ones. Often, you can get the same results with less bloat.

In this case, I've noticed that the Caves and Cliffs Update is adding a brush tool, which is basically just a mini broom. So maybe, in the spirit of Minecraft being a little quirky, maybe witch huts could just contain brushes instead (implying that witches in Minecraft fly on brushes rather than brooms, haha), and maybe you should be able to use brushes as a weapon somehow. Here's my idea for how brushes could be used in combat:

By default, a brush would be useless as a melee weapon. However, it's purpose would be to apply potion effects to multiple mobs in front of you, without the risk of hitting yourself that splash potions have. You could dip brushes into cauldrons filled with potions (on Bedrock, Java would use a crafting recipe I guess) in order to cover them with that potion effect. You could then swipe at a group of mobs to give them all a potion effect. After a number of uses, the brush would dry out, at which point it would become mostly useless for combat until you dipped it in a cauldron again.
