Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glow squid ink lures or glowing fishing rods

This idea is based on angler fish, using glow ink on fishing rods will work similarly to the lure enchantment increasing the speed of fish biting but, it will also allow you to target specific fish instead of it being random.

example: if you made a yellow lure by combining glow ink and yellow dye, it will increase the chances of getting puffer fish.

Or maybe you can create a glowing fishing rod used in caves for "cave fishing", allowing you to get some new cave creatures that can be use for some potion effects that we don't have potions for, like Health Boost, hunger and haste.

this can also open possibilities to add some cool new potion effects.

    Maybe you could make glow dye that makes your armor glow?
