This idea offers an alternative path with armor than that of netherite. Many players did not like that netherite became the best ore in the game as it entirely destroyed a huge piece of the image of minecraft as well as it being a cheaply developed incentive to go to the nether to try to cheaply add more content to the nether update. This fixes that.
The gear itself would require some amethyst(from cave update) which what we have seen of it could have quasilore of it being mystical, blaze powder(from the nether), an XP bottle which fuels enchantments and can only be found via exploration of structures, and a positive effect potion of some sort. You need to open a brewing stand to make this. Then use the blaze powder as fuel, and put the amethyst up on top and your potion of choice on bottom. This will create a special potion. Then, you need to combine that potion in a crafting table with an XP bottle or multiple, as well as with some gold(has quasilore of holding magic at times so it makes sense.) to get a special ingot. Open a smithing table with the ingot and upgrade a diamond weapon or diamond armor piece with that ingot. The armor looks the same as diamond armor, but with the armor color changed to the color of the potion, and the purple enchantment texture changed to the color of the potion. While wearing a full set of the same armor type, you have that potion effect but without particles. While holding a weapon you have that potion effect but without particles.
