Infected mobs

What if Minecraft’s mobs got infected like cows eat mycelium and become mooshrooms or cows eat flowers and become moonlooms my idea is sheep eats a mycelium block and starts to slowly grow mushrooms...

    your idea is cool so there will be blocks that cause mobs to adoopt the properities of that block so this will introduce adaptation to the enviroment by the mobs and this may also give place for migrations of big groups of mobs I like your idea.
