Carved Pumpkin on Armor Stand Scares off Mobs

If you could place a carved pumpkin on an armor stand like a scarecrow, it could scare off mobs and maybe increase the tick speed in the area so your crops can grow faster?

    Probably just scare off rabbits since they are the only pests that destroy crops

    Or even the reverse to lure in monsters, except zombies and endermen who have just enough "brains" to know living or not, a fun feature on some mods.
