Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Isn’t it a bit hard to create ? What would be the limit between Ship and NOT Ship ?

It’s obvious for us humans but for MINECRAFT it’s a real exercise.

When you complete this first challenge, you now need to consider the moving of the ship...

Let’s take an exemple: the Archimedes’ Ships Addon by BalkondeurAlpha which actually works the same way.

With more than 1 thousand blocks, your game start lagging and textures are constantly popping...

Now with a vanilla style game, establishing a block number limit is pretty impossible so you’ve just got a terribly lagging game.

Next point. If you’ve been playing MC for a bit, you might know that oceans are just like BIG puddles. Starting from this idea, we can easily deduce that most player won’t use that functionality considering it a waste...

So is it worth it to create a very complex system for absolutely NOTHING ?

(Id love to have your project in the game but I prefer to explain you why it wont be retained...see ya’ ! )

It would be easy enough I think to Craft a steering wheel and place it on a wooden hull. This steering wheel could be able to move all wood planks and anything on top of them within 20 blocks. this would fix algorithm confusion and lag. I would also like to see the ability to put a sail on it to make it move faster. that may be a problem for lag depending on your device though. I personally lag just from moving inventory sometimes.
