Item Podiums

There are a lot of cool looking tems in Minecraft and I think some of them are so beautiful that I want to decorate my House with them (for example honey combs, Netherstars and Dragon's Breaths). Picture Frames are cool but I think a Podium would add great value to Decoration as it could be placed in the middle of the room instead of on a wall and would be very good to show off some of the beautiful items in Minecraft. The Podium block can be crafted with for example Netherquartz and could be similar in form to lecterns. The item would float on top of it like items do when you drop them (but obviously wouldn't be able to be picked up or despawn) to take the Item away from the Podium you would need to right click the Podium and open the Menu of it where you can take the Item away or change it (this can only be done by the player who put the item on the Podium in the first place) Decoration is such a great part in building and the Podium would be a perfect addition.
