Opposite from the abandoned mineshaft.
This mineshaft only generates in village and its has its own entrance from above the ground. It generates rarely and it has rooms like an ordinary abandoned mineshaft has, the ways can lead you to bigger caves, Amethyst Geodes, etc.. And this spawns rarely so you have more effort to find this structures.
The Abandoned Mine is dark and mobs can spawn but Normal Mine uses lanterns and no hostile mobs can spawn. There are signs that lead you to other places or the exit.
On this mine, Minecart chests has great loot like diamond, amethyst, copper, iron, gold, redstone, lapiz, cooked foods and more. Rails are not disconnected and some rails are redstone powered. There are dead ends that lead you to dangerous places like The Warden or Dark Caves where hostile mobs spawn and is blocked with fence with a sign says dead end. You can enter at your own risk. If you're lost there are signs that lead you to exit safely, there are rooms that lead you to some resting room with bed and some loot near the exit. At the entrance, you will see a fence and a trail with lanterns and inside it is a stair that leads you to numerous Y levels:

We have abandoned mineshaft, but can we have opposite of it? I mean it fits the caves and cliffs update :D
Also this generates very rarely
